OUR STORY

At Lynchpin Speech Therapy, we believe that everybody deserves to access to communication and community. Without access to communication, we lose access to meaningful participation in life.
Communication is the key to connecting with the world around us; with our family, friends and the larger community. There is nothing more intrinsically motivating than being heard and understood.
We provide neurodiversity-affirming and strengths-based speech-language therapy because everyone deserves to be empowered individuals, positively connected with their community.
MEET KIMBERLI
Growing up in Malaysia, a multicultural/multilingual country, communication, connection and community with others has always been a core value of mine. Along with the growth mindset that was instilled in me, I founded Lynchpin Speech Therapy to build an inclusive community centered in play, exploration and problem-solving, bridging individuality and evidence-based practice.

I have been practicing as a speech-language pathologist since 2020 working with people across the lifespan in private practice, hospitals and skilled nursing facilities. My experiences solidified my belief that communication is more than speech or language, it is the lynchpin to connection with our loved ones and those around us.
When I'm not working, I love to connect with others through dance, board games and escape rooms. Looking forward to connecting with you too!

“Being able to say what I want to say,
to whoever I want to say it to,
whenever I want to say it, however I choose to say it.”

Our Vision
To build an accessible and inclusive community of self-empowered individuals
Our Values
-
Relationships
We foster strong and positive relationships. We interact with respect, interest, trust and open communication. We are better together.
-
Acceptance
We strive to be our best selves. We each have our own strengths and weaknesses. We accept our similarities and differences.
-
Growth Mindset
Learning is empowering. When we know better, we do better.
-
Presume Competence
The only limit is our imagination. We see each person as capable, curious, and full of potential — even if they communicate differently. By assuming ability, we open doors to connection, confidence, and growth.
