Service Description

Give your child a strong foundation for reading success through play, exploration, and engaging literacy activities! This small-group enrichment program is designed and led by a Speech-Language Pathologist for children ages 4–6 and focuses on the essential skills that support early reading and writing development. Through interactive stories, songs, games, crafts, and hands-on learning experiences, children will build important preliteracy skills such as: Letter recognition and letter-sound awareness Rhyming and phonological awareness Phoneme identification, blending and manipulation Listening comprehension Vocabulary development Print awareness Storytelling and narrative skills Each session is thoughtfully designed to make learning fun while fostering confidence, curiosity, and a love of reading. Children will participate in engaging, theme-based activities that encourage preliteracy skills, language growth, social interaction, and school readiness in a supportive and nurturing environment. This is perfect for preschoolers and kindergarteners who are preparing for reading success and developing lifelong literacy skills.
